A new name for 'Lane' but we cant decide! Help?
Hi all
Things are changing for us. We have an amazing new drummer and will soon be changing our name. But we can't decide which one. At the moment, it's between 'Tower Of Silence', which has something to do with burial grounds but I'm not sure what. Anthony knows cos it's his choice. And 'Co-Star', which is my choice, but Anthony reckons it's a bit 'too indie'. What dya think?

"penny lane" or "changing lanes" but actualy I think "lane" is great name and you should keep it.

Oh, I think Ray is onto something with "Changing Lanes." That's a very catchy name not to mention it captures your direction at the moment! I like "Co-Star" too but not as much as Ray's suggestion.

I'll chime in with the majority as well. Changing Lanes is great! But if there's some reason you just CAN'T use the name Lane anymore.....I cast my vote for Tower of Silence. Co-star sounds to poppy I think.... And the artwork for a band called Tower of Silence, (or in some forms, T.O.S.) could be VERY exciting and interesting,.....

Baby thinks Raymonds idea is great too, it is good to cary some of your old friends by way of a piece of your name, Theres a few more. Breakdown lane. Zipper lane.

I don't know why but the name 'Blue Burning Bridge' just popped into my head for you! Plus I also like the name Lane but sometimes a change is good :)

Lane Brain, Lane Narrows, Lane Widens, Passing Lane, Lava Lane, Lucky Lane, Toll Lane, Love Lane.
But...Lane is a very cool band name. Short and sweet.

I think that you should put a poll up on the forum asking the question whether you should change your name or not..
Also you could ask people to listen to your music and suggest a name. I think a lot of people will join in and the extra plays won't hurt.
