urgh! Writer's block (again!!) What's wrong with me?!
Why oh why?!! hate it, hate it!!!
There's some kind of weird and particularly annoying extension of writer's block in my case too, and for a while I thought, well hey, this is just writer's block, stop watching the kettle etc etc, do something else, anything else! but no, it goes beyond that....and now it's become a tad irritating to say the least. Have you ever had insomnia to the point where you're lying there thinking, oh my God, I've forgotten how you fall asleep? Well, it's like that, only it's lasting longer. Help?

Just visited your page and listened to The Sky Will Fall (revised). It's a wonderful song and whatever you will write in your blocks, you can't destroy this picture... :-)

Cathy I agree with Diego, that song is beyond beautiful, it's a painting of your soul, you will write again soon I know it and you'll be sharing all the emotions of the timeless dreams you've carried in your heart along the way.

Hi Cathy,
I logged on, checked my page and was happy to see a friendly hello from someone new to me. It was kind of you to introduce yourself, I know your music... and have often enjoyed listening!
Writers block is so frustrating... and I can very much relate to your insomnia reference... if only there was a simple answer. I only know it will come to you when it is meant to... and not a moment sooner. I wish for the creative muse to flow again for you very soon.

Lane,
When in doubt, do a cover! How about "WIld Horses" , "Wild Fire", or "Horse With No Name?" Your love of horses and your efforts to protect them is very touching.

Thanks guys for all your comments, it does really help to have support and encouragement. Actually, today I'm going to start playing piano again. (my mum gave me her piano some time ago, and we've recently moved to a tiny house, nowhere to put it, so it's been stored away, terrible I know! But today I am going to move it out, even though there's no space for it, it will just have to take up the space! That piano feels like a connection to my Mum, as it was the one she wrote all her songs on, and now that she's gone, bless her heart, it is some form of communication with her. When she first passed away, I had the most terrible panic attacks cos I couldn't cope with the grief, and the only thing that would stop them, was playing her piano. I feel that's where she is with me the most.)
Thanks again!
Love Cathy x
