where are the f ing people
We were talking to someone abut "the scene"...after listening for awhile,"bout how clubs do this, and they don't do that"...I stopped this person. I said,it is all about the people. Anywhere a
scene has ever raged, the scene contained itself.
...friends start bands, bring their friends. Some people say,"hey lets go see a show.." and so on and so forth.......The next thing you know, the clubs are packed with people and bands...You can pay $5 dollars and get wasted and then see eight bands.Or
you can support the shit on your radio...never take a chance and go see a new band....Here it is. If you love rock n roll,or your local scene, and you want to keep it....get everyone off their computers and out into the clubs. Rock will only die if you let it.Start a band, start two...tour and support others.....keep it going.

A great way to get a place buzzing is to start a jam session in your local, the landlord will go for it because it's a cheap way to fill his venue, the plus point for musicians is a free rehearsal and great networking plus at some stage you always get a paid gig out of it one way or another! Good topic :)
