webs are built of dreams realised
the dynamics (the smoothness)
of a transformation – the ability
to shift from solid to liquid
to gas – from physical to
metaphysical – from factual
to hypothetical – from
scientific to spiritual –
no duration
of time is correct
all duration
is
the time it takes to change
is the time it takes to
fall asleep and dream
waking just is
and has always been
awake and aware of position
in time and space, walking
through portals along a
water’s edge, every tree
passed is a passage to
separate time; every stone,
every piece of driftwood,
every person is a journey
to a different position
in an equal oblivion – from
so many stances colours
and directions change
but the web of space
remains (under constant
deconstruction, construction,
repair) true to who
i am for i am a part
of it (under constant
deconstruction, construction,
repair) -
and as i play
with these various
positions and dynamics,
visualising and dimensioneering
along the water, from
whichever apex of webbing
i stand, i can sense
her energy, i feel her
warming me, a piece being
attached to me, somewhat
seeming a saviour, sort
of a beacon though i
say all this unsure
for the feeling is exactly
that – feeling – a sense
of warmth i know is
from her – if i am
a tree then she is leaning
against it, sitting, sketching
in a book, if i am a
rock then she is picking
it up, saving it as a piece
of land she was visiting
that afternoon – she is
just vaguely near me at
this point in space, more
appreciation than love, yet
with the smoothness of
transformation that is an
integral part of the
shifting of time the
web can be further
constructed – more
connections to both of our
spatial points – webs are
built of dreams realised.
