McCartney ... Jagger
Hey everybody ! ... Hello and well wishes ... FINALLY got my internet service here at the house ... Will be busy the next few days trying to catch up around here ... lots of songs to check out and lots of "Hello's to be said" ...

Been busy reworking some old songs and doing some new stuff too ... Besides the songs, I've been working on a rather unique project ... I love studying people and perspectives ... and since I have my own 5 guys living in my head this has been a very fun exercise ...

You'll be hearing from 3 of them shortly, if all goes well ... One plays narrator ... one plays McCartney and one plays Jagger ...

The whole project centers around the different writing styles of "Good nature'd" McCartney vs. "Bad boy" Jagger ... They both are writing a song about the same subject .. ( A young woman that lives across the street) ... It's been fun and I'm getting close to finishing the project, so watch for the shout out if you're curious ... :)

Will be catching up with as many of you as I can shortly ... RAAAAAAAAAAAWK ON !!!
Peace
Sam

Good stuff Sam, great to "see" you here visiting again and look forward to more of your blogs and songs!
like that concept you are working with
actually was good natured McCartney truly that and that image bad boy Jagger projected was his genius, in reality we all know he was just too cool and very clever man who saw the opportunity to catch the wave of stardom and jumped in.

The Beatles were more of an accident but the Stones were a planned accident if you will under the direction of Jagger who really provided a lot of the energy to vault them to where they got, the man is probably more important in the Rock end of it and Paul and John more in the Pop tunage, although I probably will get disagreement on everything I offered here

Hey Chris .... far out ... :)

Bryon ... Can't much argue with your words ... I think the Beatles did have some planning, clever Epstein, Martin and such .. but as you pointed out, not nearly so as The Stones ... I think Jagger really does have a bit of a bad boy in him, that is why his genius worked so well imo ... but he definitely played it up for all it was worth and it served the stones well ... (The more-less fake feud) between the two groups was kind of interesting to watch unfold ... the feud became owned and argued by the fans and even back then there was never much actual bantering between the groups... I imagine they all got quite a kick out of the whole thing...

Good to be back amongst you astute, talented people ...

Hi Sam, Good to see you.

I think Mick is a showman's showman. Sure, the music is good, but most of it is not as original as most of the Beatles' stuff. It's really Mick who is the dynamo that turned just another rock 'n' roll band into a legend.

So musically, of course, Paul puts Mick to shame. But for the entertainment value, Mick is really a spectacle.
