Vocal Kombat Finals- go indie's
I won!!! I was part of a vocal kombat Friday night, one of eight finalists, and won 2 days in a recording studio.
I'm extremely excited and enjoying my little floating high. It's the first time to enter a contest like this, I'm very grateful to the organizers and pub for putting this on and allowing me to play. The support I received all round was encouraging to say the least.
It was a Karaoke contest & I asked if they minded me playing my own songs and they were good with that.
The support for uniqueness and originality as an independent artist was inspiring, I just wanted to share my excitement and thank IAC and all the listeners for your support. I'm enjoying every moment. I think one of the most memorable moments on Friday, was when I came to the quiet parts of my song, there was a hush over the crowd and everyone was focused on me, listening, it was like nothing else.
