First paid gig
I'm closing in on my first official 'gig'. Oct 20th, 730-930 in Pitt Meadows, BC...if anyone's around.
I have 'officially' been performing in public for a year at various coffee shops, open mics, churches. This marks a milestone to be the feature performer with my own guest singer. It is very exciting to be able to showcase my own music and launching(so to speak) a new career.
Thanks to the many listeners, artists at IAC for your encouraging comments. You have given me the extra confidence needed to keep writing and improving myself. There is still much to learn as a writer, a performer and balancing reality with my own ambitions. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
