Hey, I put my pants on 3 legs at a time just like the next diptera
Occasionally though, I like to be pampered by the female of the species.
I am not a one fly fly though, but I have tried to be on occasion. Seems I lean toward being more fly by night. I have come to believe I require a bevy of different flies to fill my various fly needs. My last flygirl said she could be all these flies at once but her temperment wasn't condusive to quick leaps from one flyrole to the next.
So this is my plan. If I woo 14 different flies to live with me, all who are the best at their particular flything, I will just rely on the one that is appropriate for the situation. The way I look at it, no self-respecting female fly would want to be stuck trying to fly around from one thing to another, so this way, they only need to do the fly thing they prefer most. See how that works out for everybody involved? ,~ )

A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter.
she: "What are you doing?"
he: "Hunting Flies"
she: "Oh. Killing any?"
he: "Yep, 3 males, 2 Females,"
she: Intrigued, "How can you tell them apart?"
he: "3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone."

Flies have sex for longer if their internal body clock is impaired, reveals a new study.
The chance discovery came while researchers were looking at the effect on flies’ reproduction of the removal of the genes which are involved in regulating daily wake-sleep cycles known as circadian rhythms. A student noticed the mutant males copulated for 30 to 50 per cent longer than the 15 minutes that other flies mated.
“They lost track of time,” says George Bluebottle of Oregon State University, who led the study - Jet lag ?
Since clock genes also play a role in activities unrelated to time, such as the courtship ‘song’ of the male fly, the findings should not be a surprise, says Ivor Swatter an expert on clock genes from the University of Leicester, UK.
(Jilly says - we are experts on flies in Leicester so anything you need to know just give me a buzz)

I did not know that. Yet it does seem to apply to my throbbing sexuality. (blushing)
I suspect Ivor Swatter, based on his name, may have an evil agenda against us flies.
