They Love The Ocean
The Man Who Loves The Ocean
There was a man who loves the ocean. He moved very close to the ocean. but as the years went by, he rarely ever stopped by the ocean even though it was less than a mile away. When asked about all this he said he knows he doesn't go to the ocean anymore but it makes him feel good to live near it, all the same.
The Woman Who Loves The Ocean
There was a woman who loves the ocean. She tried to buy a house near the ocean many times but it just never worked out. She was often sad, cause she wishes she lived by the ocean.

I also know a woman
Who hungers for the sea
I know her endless sadness
Because that woman's me!
And then I know a man
Whose home is by the ocean
He rarely ventures out now
Never needs his sun tan lotion!

I fell in love with the ocean during my time in the Navy. It became a calming influence on my life during a time of horrific war. I have lived near the ocean ever since then because sometimes I like to go there and meditate, pray or write. Not sure why but water has always been a big draw to me.
There once was a man from LA, who moved from the city to the Bay. In all of his dreams were rivers and streams and oceans to take him away.
But instead he decided to stay.

Was always dark and brown
Just smiled and walked around
Now I lack emotion

its polluted with crap, piss and tan lotion
It is filled with dirty socks, garbage and junk
from your friends mankind and little punks
Stop with this Ocean talk fly
you are really just a unhappy guy
feeling miserable and sorry for self
try to forget this talk and put it on a shelf
Stop with this bs crap you loser
you spin silly tales you drunken boozer
get a job, get a life and spend time with your wife
All you do is create pain hate with your strife
You are a fly, or think you are,
you spend half your life plunking that stupid guitar
the ocean doesnt care about you or the music you make
I think you be better off learning how to bake a cake
So pick up the pieces of what you are
maybe spend time driving your new car
Get away from the ocean and the seaside
Write a book about your feelings inside
And the woman, who loved the Ocean
she is now famous and sings with emotion
You fly, the guy or what ever you are
It be best if you just kept driving your new car
