Sex and the Single Fly
Flygirl and I have gone our separate ways. I have no regrets, we burned brightly for a time and that fact will never change. Her fingerprints on my soul will remain.
But a fly is meant to be on the prowl. :~D

I'm so sorry to hear that... it seemed that she really meant a lot to you from reading your blog. I still appreciate that you opened yourself up... it inspired me on your 'How are you?' thread... he read it... said it was wonderful! Now I understand your comment in reference to internal peace... you can delete my response on that if you want. Well anyway... wish you the best and thanks again for the inspiration.

FLY ___ Please tell me this ain't true! AFTER such amazing love poetry from you?
I was with a woman BRIEFLY with the same amazing poetry (in fact -- where my POET muse Returned to me from) BACK & forth (she was a poet by trade). Even got turned on to spoken word (DOIN' IT & Seeing/hearing it performed by others)...
But my wife & many others said I was a fool, and it was so short (approximately 2 months of reality, and about 5 months of HELL afterword), that it couldn't be real.
BUT, I'll never forget that feeling of being so close to somebody you were a PART of them, and could feel the BEAUTY of this world, that is often missed.
Currently TRYIN' to get back to that with my wife, like we were for the first 2 years, but realities of MONEY/WORK/MUSIC & Family are makin' it take a little WORK now.... uh....
SORRY -- more than you cared to know.
MY POINT IS --- PLEASE tell me it ain't so! IF it is true thought (that you & fly are no longer lovers), please follow your words above --
I STILL believe: "It is better to have loved, then lost, than to have never LOVED..."

We had a good thing. If you loved her once, you always love her, I say. Still I'm a man, can't seem to get away from that.
Sorry to hear about your own tricky issues. I tend to think that once a soulmate is no longer a soulmate, there may not be any going back. However you get to decide for yourself what occurs.

She's still my soulmate, but we're workin' through the business of a music career that's finally started movin'.... SO Really, any perceived distance that's been caused is MOSTLY my fault for still being in learnin' mode on how to juggle the time between all the critical elements of this wild life. Uh... I'm sure you've noticed I spend too much time on IAC blogs sometimes...
But all of LIFE is about learning the balance, eh? Hope to see you feelin' strong in YOURSELF again soon. You've got SO fuckin' much to offer this world & this crazy-assed, and often too politically correct, music community. -phlegm
