I'm taking a few college courses to advance my education
I decided I may want a master's degree just so I can go around saying I have a master's degree. (Do they make a special medal or talon one can wear to signify this?)
Anyway I'm carrying 6 credits, 3 in Psychology 202 and 3 in Geometry.
Those students in the geometry class have no sense of humor. I came into class the first day singing "Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in" and not one person even smiled at my joke. Then I gave the class the finger and since then nobody will even let me copy their test papers.
The Psychology class is a whole other ball of wax. The teacher, Professor Reinhart, an attractive blonde, likes me a lot. I stayed after class to ask her a question the other day and she was giving me eyes like she would be open to private lessons. :~D Our class which is 14 people sits in a circle and discusses various concepts, and on Friday we talk about ourselves, it's a different kind of open class. When it's warm we sit in the courtyard. We've all gotten to know each other and I've gone out to clubs with a small group from there. As usually happens, I've started to get bored so I try to entertain my classmates. We had an exercise where we are supposed to say what animal or living creature the other students remind us of, we have to go around in the circle and label each of our peers with some animal. There are 3 dullards who hang together and with a straight face, to entertain my pals, I said Paula, Lisa and Mitch reminded me of a sponge, an eel, and a gerbil. Paula was so insulted she got really angry at me and asked me to explain myself. That was difficult. Some others in the class started to gang up on me at this point. The teacher intervened and the class ended soon after that but my friend Charlotte told me that now every time she looks at Mitch she sees him with a gerbil face. I forgot to mention that the most popular description for me was a peacock. I found this to be a compliment because I've always prided myself on having such a colorful plume.
