What are the greatest sounds in the world?
My 3rd favorite is the sound I remember of a Hoover Vacuum Cleaner, I'm not sure why but it soothed me.
My 2nd favorite sound is the ocean.
My favorite sound is a woman's orgasm.

There are soooo many ... but one of the sounds I think is the greatest is ....
The sound of Silence ....
Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh ... the wonderful sound of the bubbling water in a perfectly chambered, in tune, Bong ...

Haha, I like that sound too Sam.
Or the sound of a summer evening... or a summer night for that matter. Or if I'm hungry I find the sound of something like frying bacon to be quite compelling. :) Maybe it's cuz I'm relating it to the smell.
I've never heard the ocean, or seen it. I'm a deprived Nebraska boy.

Jesse ... Do you know the town of "Broken Bow" ?
... I was forced to spend the night there once ... I was on my way to Sturgis and the local man sort of invited me to stay ... only cost me $250.00 to get out ... :)
... sirens are one of the WORST sounds on earth ! ... LOL !

The sound of the wingbeats and calls of a flock of starlings on their way home to roost, flying right over my head in the silence of a wintry sunset, as I sit on the earth with my back against a sycamore tree...

Hoover is not nice sound because my pussy hide and make the funny noise at it but when all is over I love the purring in my lap. Other things are not so good maybe. Ocean is many different sound good and bad, woman's thing I never heard before.

1) The sweet reassuring whisper of air flowing in an out of your lover's body.
2) The comforting tick of an old fashioned alarm clock when it's your only companion on a lonely night.
3) The fizz of an Alka Seltza dropping into a glass of water.

Erica I know exactly what you mean about the sound of air from a lover. Just being on the phone with somebody special, if it's right, you don't have to talk at all, you feel everything just thru the waves, it can be so perfect.

a warm and generous smile
the resonance of hope and dreams
the chaotic pitches of imagination
the constant hum of creation
joyous laughter
the silence of a prayer
hummingbirds
crows and all things winged
the primal vibrations of smell
the harmonious and erratic tones of color
gratitude
a choir
and most of all... the sound of love

Trains are great. I have an electric train set I put up every so often and it has a sound system based on a recording of real trains, and a steam whistle. heh
