Rating the condiments

honey mustard - It's not good, a totally bad idea. Like molasses on spaghetti.
soy sauce - I find this useless.
now the top 10, in reverse order to add to the drama.
10. ranch dressing - nuff said
9. relish - occasionally ok on hotdogs but only if you're in the right mood.
8. horshradish sauce - commercial brands are too sweet. I prefer straightaway horseradish
7. duck sauce - good in a mix with hot mustard for eggrolls, also to dip your hard noodles in. :~D
6. barbeque sauce - varies greatly depending on the venue.
5. hot mustard - yes it's too hot but still I like it.
4. ketchup - a standard, but some people overdo it so it's uncool to be too into ketchup.
3. salt - crucial for french fries, underrated
2. mustard - great on soft pretzels and worthwhile on subs. It's all purpose.
1. .. drumroll ... hot sauce

Mustard on hot dogs. Ketchup on Hamburgers. Simple but it says it.

Funny Jilly, altho with Fly I had to wonder if the topic didn't have something to do with one of his new inventions... such as combining colored condoms with assorted flavors to match.
At least now I know I don't have to fight you for the honey mustard, although maybe your just not topping the correct item with it. I have to agree tho, molasses on spaghetti... not a good idea!

I've often thought that Salsa was at it's best back when it was still just a relatively unknown, somewhat struggling local underground condiment.
Imo what they're putting out today, is just more of the same old commercialized crap. Designed to appeal to the masses, rather than making an honest attempt at exploring any new ground.
Let's face it, though we might hunger for more of what once made Salsa great, ...the reality is; that Salsa sold out a long time ago.
In truth, the minute Salsa went mainstream, the condiment we all knew and admired ceased to exist,
...leaving in it's place this slickly packaged, artistically bland imposter,
...apparently content to continue churning out more of the same old over processed, demographic targeting, market reasearch directed, profit driven, pre-packaged regurgitated, substanceless, corporate formulated crap that would be be more accurately labeled as "Salsa Inc."
