He's a genuine Kiwi musical export and now, after many long years in LA exile,
singer, songwriter and showman Greg Johnson is coming home
for a remarkable nationwide tour, appropriately titled "Small Towns and Ball Gowns".
Johnson and his handpicked band will hit the Nelson School of Music on THU 2 JUNE
and will perform favourites from three decades of hitmaking such as
Don't Wait Another Day, Liberty, Isabelle, Save Yourself, Now The Sun Is Out and Looking Out On Monday.
When Greg was last at the Nelson School of Music, in 2006, he played to a full house. Tickets for his current show are on sale now.

Greg has chosen the Nelson-based group Weave to open his show. They are an original acoustic trio made up of June Fallen, Santosha Phillips and Leo Barrer. "I grew up listening to Simon & Garfunkel," says Greg "so when I heard these Nelson guys I was taken right away. Tight tunes, great voices. It's Folk folks." Weave formed in early 2011 and had its debut gig at the Nelson Festival of Opportunities in March.
