wild boar hunting
Where we live in New Zealand this is a popular sport-Both Men and Women hunt wild pigs with a sharp knife and a pack of dogs-the pigs eat young lambs etc so are a pest
I wrote the song as a spoof cos they often lose their dogs for weeks
OH YeahLeo is also a vegetarian, so he would never go hunting!!!

Gotta admit, the joke about the missing dogs would have gone over my head - never had the wild pig hunting experience, haha - live and learn and always digging your sound ...

I came face to face with a wild boar during my early morning walk about 3 winters ago. It came from the brush in the dark and scared the hell out of me. He ran one direction and I ran the other. He was pretty fast for being that big. They are massively awesome looking creatures. They come down from the hills to forage for food in the winter here. Last year the golf course hired professional hunters to get rid of a bunch that tore up the course. They used some kind of body heat sensors instead of dogs. Very effective as it only took a couple of days for them to bring home the bacon.
Cool Song Man!

Amazing, the experiences you guys (Silverwood and Stoneman) have. I'm telling you it's mighty tame in the Shoe City by comparison .....

Hey
Shoe City, Stoneman,
I have been out hunting several times, a few years back with a pro---
-------the dogs grab the boar by the ears and back legs and then the boar is stuck in the throat with a hunting knife, This blow is very important as it must hit the jugular or the hunter is in big trouble---often this happens after 2--3 hours of chasing the pig through dense bush, and everyone is buggered lol
Making music is more fun!!!
