I was pretty touched yesterday. And not only because of the historical moment, but also because I think that we picked the right candidate for the first time in a long time. I would not go so far to say that I "have faith", but I am cautiously optimistic. And a helluva lot more hopeful about the future than I have been in some time.
Thanks Rob.

Thanks you so much for the shared happiness Rob!
Still wiping the tears from my eyes...
my children are biracial... explaining what this means for them (real opportunity to reach for the stars), explaining what this means to me, a person who has protested in marches over and over again, as well as to explain what this feels like for my ex-mother-law (in her 60's) and her mother (in her 90's)... to live to see this day... imagine the magnitude of this experience for so many... for most of us.
it is indeed a new day!

I think he's the right man ... but sadly I'm not optimistic about the American people anymore ... I should stop reading blogs on the web ... I have NEVER seen so many negative, hate filled, fearful people in all of my life ...
If he fails ... it will not be of his own accord ... the people really need to get it together over here ...

What amazes me is how GW live right up to my expectations. I can only hope that now Obama does, too.
Is it just me or does it seem that the people who are negative about our new prez are the same ones who said we were un-american to question George?
I really hope there is a big helping of justice served.

I hear it Rob .... you might keep the life raft handy ... after I escape from prison ... and find a boat heading south to stow away on ... I'll be ridin' a wave and may need some assistance getting to shore mate !

I'm proud to be an American.
In his first day Isreal know to run away scared because they know the games up.
Now we have to spend much needed money to build Palastine up again.
Let's pray that any agressor will not be our ally again.

I'm okay. You're okay.
Let's find a way to all live together.
Globally, it matters.
That's what the new guy understands that the old guy didn't.
Simple stuff made complex by those w/ an agenda.

Tommy, you lost your privelege to place new topics on the front page when you and one of your pals went way over the top with your amount of promotional posts. We asked you to chill out some and you just didn't.
I'm not going to argue this anymore but send your complaints to iacsupporthotline@gmail.com, do not post them on the pipeline.

I am looking forward to the future now. Sam, don't let the idiots bother you...they are there and always have been, but they are not the majority hopefully. Obama is a smart guy, and just amazing...it's amazing how far our country has come...it's exciting.
