first no.1
We are celebrating Mothers Day, and our first ever No.1 in Live Performances genre, with "Hairdressers" (a poke at modern day society). WE also have 5 others in the top 50 in that genre!
Sorry to brag --------but no one else is going to!
Thanks to all the stations playing our music------if any of you ever plan to visit our country
there's a spare bed, and a bottle of wine to share-----Toby. Scott & Co thanks so much for
helping a Kiwi band compete with all the other fantastic INDIE muso's on this site!

I should explain further that this is NewZealand music month in our country!
NZ radio stations have for many years ignored local music in favour of mainstream
"pop' music from overseas charts, until a 10% nz quota was introduced!
The biggest chance a KIWI band has of getting played, is to be recognised is to be recognised in an overseas context.
I realise this is a genre with a small base, but it is like getting on the first rung of the ladder in an airplay sense!
So thanks again IAC, we have NZmusician magazine interested in us and IAC----hopefully an artcle next month!

well done silverwood, the closest we ave ever got was number 5 in the hard rock chart with smug you are, absolutely no chance of de-throning Alex Bach from the top spot she has been there for like life.
