the true "Spirit of Indie"
We have been feeling down to it lately-plays have dropped by about half in the last 2 months not many adds -doom and gloom really!!!!!
BUT That all changed this morning with a trip to the mailbox????
My 17 year old (Tom) noticed the package-and wrested it from my grip, opened it and slammed it on the player, the first thing we noticed were all the melodies then Tom said 'I like his Smokey voice' Power of One was playing-further on i found myself hanging on the lyric of "Money Just Don't Care" I said to my Wife "That should be a Silverwood song-my boy grabbed the CD and burned 2 copies to take to high School -and now I'm on my third play of

some may remember as "Oflockit" back in 2006 when we joined IAC-Duane along with Sam and Hugo, Muriel, Larree, J Patrick, Ash Ferry--these were the guys who made us welcome and added our first songs to their stations-YET!!!!!
Until I held this CD in my hand -and heard the Whole packageI had no real idea of the spirit of melody flowing from Duanes guitar and I am both ashamed and elated-!!!!
Ashamed at the stationmasters (ME) lack of depth in listening and elated that I am a true friend of a smokey voiced soulful singer, who plays like it's his life hanging out there on the line.
This IS THE TRUE SPIRIT OF INDIE IMO

Rob,
Thank you my friend. Your words actually brought a tear of joy to mine and my wife's eyes. You and the group at Silverwood are also True Indie in Spirit, and the Great tunes you share with all of us.
This is exactly why I do what I do. I helped someone forget their worries and they enjoyed themselves for just a few moments.
I could never explain to anyone how good I feel right now!!
Sometimes there's things money just can't buy. My friends here at IAC are Priceless!!
