A Blast From My Past!?
Well... As a new user to IAC, I've uploaded my 2nd song, under my free account. Guess I should have read the fine print, but any exposure is better than none, so I really can't complain...

This 2nd track I've presented is a personal favorite of mine. I recorded it around 2003, and used this as the 2nd single off of my debut indie CD, "The Program". It was well recieved, with most complaints directed towards the vocal mixing, which I owned up to.

It's hard when you're trying to start your own indie label, especially if it's in the Hip-Hop/Rap genre, ESPECIALLY in Arizona! They normally say if you can make it in places like LA or New York, then you can make it anywhere, but I feel like if you can make it here in 'Tha Zone', as we call it, then you have no choice but to be successfull anywhere else you go...

This track was made to help people get over playing 'follow the leader'. I was tired of everybody looking for the next hot slang terms, shoes, and topics that I felt limited our music. I was also trying to live by my own words as well. Lead by example right...? Up to this point, I have yet to stray from that theme, because it hasn't been accepted yet, so the new albulm, "Judges", will be somthing of an epiloge to the program.

Enjoy the song! (& remember, it's okay to bob your head along with the rythm!)

Peace!
