name change?
yet more e-mails saying and asking me and merry to change our name as pip and merry seeme a strange name for our type of music, i have been known as pip most of my life, and merry is called merry, hence pip and merry ,would a name change help? yer we know we sound like hobbits our names that is not our music, some may differ!! get tempted somtimes maybe! pip and merry...

I like the name. It's different and easy to remember. No group rises or falls because of a name. It's all about the music. Perhaps there's a name that is so off-putting that it should be changed but yours is not one of them.

It would be a lot of work to almost start all over. At least advertising wise, plus immediate recognition. If everybody has to ask again "who?", and the reply is "you, know...., they used to be called Pip & Merry"......
Your image can only make you're name that much stronger. Your fans come to see you, not your name.

I have to go to work now and make a name for myself, and maybe a few more pennies.......... Hahahahahahaha

I say tell whoever is asking you to change your name, to change their name first. : )

Of course that name is holding you back, you must change it immediately to......

'Subhuman Dirtbag Scumbuckets' is a pretty cool name for a band. Their first album would probably be called something like 'Dogs Fucking In Ass Filth, Baby!'
