New Station! Inquire here!
It's the Hotline Wannabees!
If you think you're good enough to be on the Hotline, you NEED to post here!!!
Yes, you!!! You need to!
Well...there are a few qualifiers....I have no connection whatsoever to IAC staff or decision makers (yet)! Posting here does not guarantee in any way that you're going to be featured in any way whatsoever on IAC or anything to do with it!
That said,
Hotline Wannabees Station
There it is! Drool on!!! This is IT!!!!!!

hey LD, cool idea, and I will jump at it,, it is a new cool mix here. i think you added it before to your other station, not sure, but this one kicks ass and I am sure you will like it too
run run running
bryon tosoff and jaime elliottcollaboration
or there is an unconventional improv off the cuff thing it is a kinda John Cage experimental thing playing inside the piano with it all apart the haunting
or a collab with Duane Flock

Of course I think that I need to be there!
Allow me to suggest the following songs:
"Here"
It's probably the single from my (new) album.
Of course, then, there's:
"Come On, Let's Go"
...the ballad, and probably the prettiest thing that I've ever written.
But then, there is the singalong:
"Sheila of the Worms"
Hope that you like something here and that you decide to add it. I've been kinda quiet around these parts recently; waiting to see what's shaking out with the new IAC and all that. Hopefully, as it all settles in, we'll start hearing some more noise around here.
Thanks, Dan!

You're all welcome.
No one else wants to be on the Hotline?
I thought it was more popular than that!

You know, if the Hitline were a "greatsongsline" instead, I'd certainly want to be there, but as it is, it's for "hits" which have a certain universal appeal, which is to say, they appeal to the lowest common denominator. A "hit" would certainly be a welcomed thing to have. It would seem any songwriter's dream to have one.
But I don't write "hits." I write good songs. There's a difference.
But, if having a "hit" would lend my music to a broader audience, then I certainly wouldn't be opposed to having one. I'm just not going to write one for that reason. If it happens naturally, accidentally, organically, then I'll accept it. But if you set out to write a "hit," you're doing something different than I am.

Hey Lyin' Dan, I want to be on the Hotline too! Any song that you deem worthy or hot is fine with me, although "Dixie" seems to be getting the most hits lately.
Cheers,
Linden

Yay LD, I have deleted Debbi D, as the lofi was just too cold compared the the other hot tracks,
As a wannabee though, I've uploaded a replacement track "These Are The Days", so if you would like to include that on the Hotline, it would be most appreciated,
Cheers
