Well, sometimes it IS. Prolly depends on the material. In Fabrice's case, I'd say it actually did matter.
How about you? Does it matter how well you sing?

no, I do what ever comes out, if it sounds good to me then it is good for you.
if it sounds bad to me, it is still good for you

Well it use to matter to me. But that was a long time ago when my voice was young and vibrant. Now days I'm just glad to still be breathing. Singing is a bonus whether it sounds good or not.

I'm an OK singer, but what I really like is not how well someone sings, but rather how true they sing. I've heard some people with great voices, but no character or conviction. I think the voice is the instrument that carries a song most of the time. All my favorite bands are ones whose singers have a certain style I like. It's more than just hitting the right notes - it's about the heart.

do what you love, love what you do.....sing what you like , like what you sing
but pick the tunes that work. my range is like from middle C to g and back
so i sing songs in that area or fake singing in that range
