Grim reality LyinDan, we have been investing in ways and inventing ways to self destruct and eliminate the species for ages, now we stand on the brink of extinction without supernatural help from some far off species yet, for me I believe there are evil human beings, in power, and I am not just talking the Trump effect, I am stating the fact of the globalists who are merged together together to kill many of us off, through what ever means they can conjure up, those bastards are the ones to watch. and I do not need to post links, name names you are aware enough to know this stuff already anyways. We dont need Aliens to invade us, our minds are being pounded saturated infiltrated with media bullshit day by day, Facebook has people drunk with stupidity and youtube and google pound their own agenda and send out heir own truth and most just accept what they hear like sheep, and dont dig deep to find out what is really going on, few do, who needs Aliens, we are turning into a race a dimwits and blithering idiots. , Aliens, we have them here already those agencies ,deep state, the demonic powers that control most of the countries in this world

Anyway, the robots thing is extremely real and very likely. You're going to start seeing some of that very soon.

yes. i went through a few LyinDan, I found the robot aspect intriguing, A I is no too far off, in fact I agree with you, we are devolving. so many people do not use their minds and think things through. plop self in front of their entertainment center, watch the boob tube the idiot box and get their brains sucked out of their head. or play games on facebook, or gamble their asses away online. dont have a family life, dont teach their children well, like in the song we knew so well back in the day.
then you see blithering idiots screaming to the heavens on November 8th throughout the US on anniversary of Trumps victory, what does that do. that was laughable MORONS LOL that was awesomely STUPID. what does it prove. idiots
we have taken a big step backwards and expect the government to take care of us from cradle to grave, instead of having industry about our lives doing and accomplishing. what kind of a F**KED WORLD are we living in , expect mommy and daddy to take care of us when we are 40. thats what is happening.

Many tech people are quite concerned with this.
The likely danger is that we will turn far too much over to intelligent systems. Intelligent systems already outwit us in numerous ways that require strategy, for instance, winning chess against human grand masters. I've thought for many years that the way to develop real intelligence in machine systems is to teach them HOW to learn for themselves, something that is the current rage in AI development, and that's happening NOW. Machines learn very very quickly, compared to humans. Some of them are already pretty convincing at the Turing test. You're going to be utterly amazed at what happens in a few short years. You can't say any more, "Ah, they can't do anything they're not programmed to do", because that is no longer true. Without serious safeguards, they can and are doing things not programmed by us, because we are already allowing them to program themselves. The results are uncertain, but very possible to develop a Terminator type scenario. For real.
