Anyone else in love with maj7?
I have to stop myself from sticking one in every tune.

I'm on this harmonic minor trip..
It's such a majestic and mysterious scale.
Maj7 chords so stevie ray.....
;)
I use em of the 4 chord and sometimes the 5....actually they're neat to solo over, they seem to voice the major pentatonic scale in an interesting way.....

The Maj7 is the chordal tonic root of the major scale, they are kind of hard to avoid. The resolving seventh chord of every Major Key is a Major seventh. Its the Classic "Bar" chord. :)

Major 7ths are the acest,breeziest,burt bachariachiest,Arthur lee loveist summery chords ever.
I've got one new song thats ALL major 7ths...
It actually sounds a little sinister actually-not totally sweet like you'd expect
Terry(kozy Kingz) i added one of yours to my lounge station yesterday thats just great and has lots of major 7ths(i think)

Cmaj7 = greatest chord ever!
Fmaj7 = really cool too.
I love maj7s when there is a semi-tone between the 7th and the (one octave up from the root note).
As opposed to being a full tone difference.
That aestherial, pleasurable dischordance quality ....
Awesome.
