I've always felt that Red Onions were right up there with Carrots in the categorical listings of under appreciated vegetables.
And while not nearly as palate pleasing as a good, crisp, carrot, they are nonetheless clearly not without merit.
Not like stale, damp, old straw. Stale, damp, old straw completely sucks. Totally lacking in both taste, and texture, and notoriously limited in aesthetically pleasing presentation possibilities as well. ...fit for nothing beyond Zebra fodder imho(In most horse's opinions).
