if you know why and when to take it and how much to take it's a fantastic short term antibiotic, as is Grapefruit Seed Extract.
I have stopped an absess tooth and compleltly removed the inflamation and infection for like 2 months until I could get to Juarez to get it fixed.

Argue about what works all you want, but then, please consider the placebo effect... it leads to the only truth about ALL and ANY medicine, which is that what a person believes will work is what will actually work for that person, whether it is a homeopathic substance, a sugar-pill or a laboratory antibiotic.

I would NEVER trust what the U.S. government, or any of it's agencies "truths" ...
Because more often than not ... their truths are covered up lies ...
... but I WOULD take the H1N1 vaccine if it were available ... This flu is nasty, and it hurts, and it last a LONG time ... it took me three solid weeks before I thought I was finally on my way over it ...

Sorry to hear that Sam not nice at all. I totally agree about the governments i trust them as much as i could throw them. High concentrate Vitamin C and D tabs works just as well for flu viruses. Of course they are being banned because of Codex Alimentarius which kicks in on 31st dec 09.

yes, the way this flu gets you is it depletes you Vit C faster than you can generally replenish it.
we are C and D heavy this time of year, I'm in classrooms 3 days a week and I have a weakened immune system, and still I never really get sick.
I'm supposed to get the vaccine because my immune system is scetchy, but I'm not gonna, mainly because it annoys me.
I use Dr Alcers EmergenC and good vit. B and D supplements.
And I drink lots a juice...
so far so good.
If I die I'll be sure to drop by and apologize for missleading you all,,,,
P.S.anyone who takes antibiotics for a virus doesn't know much about biology...
And, man you cant use those things for any little ailment that comes along either, even though your doctor will give em to ya like candy. you may need the damn things to save your life someday, people should stay the hell away from them unless it's pretty serious shit.

Agree on the C and D and B. I'm staring at the pile of vitamins/herbs I take every morning right now. I'm relatively healthy for em. Don't OD on any particular one. Not sure which ones are most important, actually. I shotgun em, then eat spinach, red onion, tomato, and olives nearly every morn for breakfast. My skin is still a healthy pink color, too.
