Wha! Why does the History Channel run UFO programming on Christmas?
One would think something called The History Channel would shy away from shows about UFOs and aliens, but they have run these quite serious documentaries regularly since the station showed up on cable TV, going totally against the grain of their other programming if you happen to believe that UFOs are kook fodder, as many do.
The US government is behind this programming. They want to continue to get the truth out about the UFO culture in a backhanded way. You say "Why?" but it's simple. At any point in time, some kind of major UFO event could occur somewhere to completely raise the veil on the truth about these matters, and it is believed to be in our best interest if the population is in a state of marginal belief in aliens. There will not be nearly the shock factor as there would be if a rigid coverup was in effect, and in addition, the government gets deniability by being able to state and accurately that the information was out there, available for all to see. While governments around the world hide what they really know about the phenomenon, the approach to inform the public without actually sanctioning, verifying this information is a well-thought-out policy.
The fact that the History Channel ran nonstop UFO programming on Christmas Day could indeed be some kind of allusion about the origins of humankind. More on point than documentaries about Jesus Christ and creationism, perhaps. Someone in 'power' may want us to understand - to some insulated extent.

Yea, your right bush told the history channel to play ufo cover up shows. Watch out. you will be ascimilated, resistance is futile. Aliens will never show themselves to us. Monkeys people will run. The aliens that visit earth are not our creators. They are more like zoo keepers. Get real.
