The Songwriters' Muse
The magic in the music visits me whenever it wills
It finds an unexpected empty place and simply fills
The void where there lay something real but unexpressed in me
A melody, a meaning in a wisp of poetry
Drifting in the wind that whispers deep within my soul
Come Out! -The muse is calling...
Come Out!- The secret springs into my fingers
Now dancing on the strings

I hear what you are saying after listening to your music. True inspiration as if the sea of life finds your muse and puts it to good use. A true musician thinks this way and I 'm greatful to hear your music. Kelp up the good work LOL Peace Brother..

'twas not I
I did not write the songs you hear
They played themselves to me
They told me where they had to go
And why they had to be
Their image painted on my mind
Had colour, light and shape
Their shorthand scrawled in mystic ink
would offer no escape
... nor the bristle in my nape... so I plucked the ripened grape
I did not write the words you hear
They passed on magic air
I breathed them in then scattered them
Exhaling without care
I went to bed, a clueless dolt
Yet woke with song intact
I did not mean to write these songs
My brain was never wracked
...a true and present fact....this Muse pervades my every act,

I feel exactly the same way, If it doesn't fall out with ease it was never meant to be.
I have never been frustrated when writing a song, I think when I get stoned it opens the flood gates and I can't keep up sometimes. Now if I can get structure and form instead of all these 3or 4 chord loops. Im working on that with the structure gods.
I love this shit. It can only get better with all the new toys. Do the song gods like toys?
