There's something under my bed.
We just uploaded one from the archives. It was recorded 10 years ago, when digital recording was pretty new and we were experimenting and using every high and low tech method we could find to get where we were going. It's freshly remastered for new life.
The synths were a Roland D-50 (we think) and a really cheap Casio that we processed every way possible to hide the fact it was a Casio. The acoustic guitar was a nylon string guitar that Stegor's father in law found in a dumpster at a campground that he put steel strings on (try playing that)! The thing that sounds like a synthesized mosquito is an e-bowed guitar.
It was written from distant memories of childhood when Stegor used to lay in bed, petrified with fear, convinced there was a monster under his bed. Of course he later realized it's a pretty universal fear. So the varispeed vocals are provided by Stegor.

I liked your 'thing' and it reminded me of a song I did called "Mon mons" which is what my kids called their 'thing under the bed' I must find it again...now where is it ...ah under the bed of course.

Oooh very creepy, Music Mistress. I love it. With Halloween coming someone should start a creepy station. Someone that isn't me because I can't seem to keep up.

I listened to your song and was taken away to a phychotic land far away. The one just under the bed. That world seems so real your afarid to put your foot down because you know that monster will grab you and pull you in. I loved it.

As for the e-bow, I haven't used it for a while but now I'm dyin' to use it again. Shoot, it needs a battery - ah well, I won't be needing this smoke detector...
