Girls vs. Boys
There's something I noticed recently on the front page of the IAC. Gosh, there's a lot o' purty girls in indie music, and hardly any guys. At least that's what the slideshow would suggest. I spent a few minutes and took a count:
Males or male-fronted bands: 18
Females or female-fronted bands: 35
That's not the full rotation, it's just when my boss walked up behind me and wondered what I was looking at. Of course that blasted ad with the football girlie happened to be there too.
I'm not really complaining, I just found it interesting. What do you suppose would cause such a discrepancy?

well there are a bunch of different slideshows that are used for the front page, that are rotated.

to be honest every time i come on to the front page to browse the blogs the first picture i always get is ainjel emme, guaranteed i even just refreshed the page three times and she is always the first to come up. I have also seen us three or four times all in all, so i'm not complaining, but then, how the hell could anyone complain about iac

well that's the same here , Ainjel is always the first, and she isn't hard to look at------I haven't seen our pic come up yet------3 ugly guys-------------?

I'm not allowed to have the internet at my work. Mainly because this is where I'd be all of the time.
So........you guys looking forward to your next raise....are ya? Haaa Haaa
What's really a bonus is the pretty girls here also have a LOT of great talent!! The whole package as I see it!
