About a modern day Jezebel
I've never tried to promote a song this way before, but I felt compelled this time for some reason.

Jezebel is a song I dedicate to my son and anyone else who has had to suffer through the misery that can be brought upon them by an evil person.

The verses are a series of pity filled limericks, directed at the poor sap that gets taken in by Jezebel's charms, which for some reason only he can see.

The center section is the anger directed at Jezebel by the rest of us that see her evil and what she's doing to her victim.

Jezebel

Jezebel waits for the sun to go down
Lurks in the shadows when no one's around
Avoiding the light
She lives in the night
By day she's nowhere to be found

Jezebel taps on your window pane
Some say she's crazy some say she's insane
You answer her call
Without flinching at all
And she sucks you down the drain

--------
Caustic words spit from your lips
You poison the air with your lungs
Toxin emits from your fingertips
And venom drips from your tongue
You scatter the demons you hold in your hand
You run with the hounds of Hell
Spreading your spite across the land
How many will fall to your spell?

JEZEBEL!
--------

Jezebel stares through a crack in the fence
Mumbling words that don't make any sense
Deep down inside her
The web of a spider
Thick, dark, and dense

Jezebel stole your joy with skill
With worry and pain the void she will fill
You fall for the lies
She tells with her eyes
Dry as the bitterest pill

-Stegor

You forgot a link to the song.

btw I listened, liked the guitar interplay going on in it. It was sort of a rock opera of sorts, eh ? I have several songs about evil women myself, somebody should start a station. heh

This infamous guy I know once told me, as his ultimate advice.. "Women are evil". I think he may be right because women have made me do many things I never would've done on my own. I also know this woman artist quite well who literally claimed she cast an honest-to-god spell on me and I actually wonder if she did, for real. Anyway, to become involved with certain women is a ticket to your own demise, for sure. heh

but I digress, didn't mean to ramble there.. :)

Thanks for adding the link. I was trying to find the instructions you or Toby posted to do that but I couldn't find 'em. I should be able to do it because I do some html but it was late and I was falling asleep.

By the way, wouldn't it be a cool feature to have a button that does it automatically?

Thanks also for your comments. I know this song will strike a chord in a lot of people because I know quite a few who have had their lives trashed by rotten people, male or female. As with most of our music, we approached a serious subject with passion that comes from real life experience, but we had a blast doing it and we can't suppress our senses of humors (sic).
