Landlocked - 2004 - my first solo collection
Ok, so i haven't done anything new for a while, but i want to play some music for you guys, so, here it is the long awaited reissue of my first collection of music LANDLOCKED, The first song is God, please lets end this this way.

I am going to upload the tracks in tracklisting order. For those of you who are familiar with the other songs i have uploaded here, you will notice the difference, LANDLOCKEDD was very heavily recorded using midi, and lots of it, some of these productions had 40-odd tracks of music and vocals. LANDLOCKED was finished in 2004, love to hear what you think of it:

LANDLOCKED.

8. Once again i fail to take my own advice.

I am going to load one track at a time.

The thing is, when i dug these recordings out of the vaults i immediately wanted to start changing them, cause i never got them quite how i wanted them (do we ever)... and i know JAWZ will complain that she can't hear the words, but they are how they are, turn off the lights turn it up and listen to the volume of detail, little touches and hidden surprises...

I don't need to hear the words, I know them by heart :) That recording sounds so different from the original Garageband uploads, either you have enhanced it or IAC have a far better sound quality. Weyhey for jumping into the Hitline too, as soon as I heard it I thought, it would be a good contender. For any one who can't hear the words - the chorus is

"Good looking girls with ugly mothers, good looking girls who tower above us"

thanks for the comments guys, it would have been nice to put some new stuff up, but listening back to these tracks, although i've moved away from this type of production (i'm talking more about the other tracks than God, pease,,,) i knew that the amount of effort i put in to them deserved a wider audience.

and, it must be a credit to the IAC player, as i haven't touched these tracks since 2004, so this is the same as garageband got...

hello again,

please find uploaded track two of the 2004 GC album, landlocked....

this is a ballad, some great chords, i think, and quite a sensative romantic little lyric...

i had to mix it again today as the versions i had were with an old vocal, i didn't even realise until i opened up the nuendo file. because i didn't have any plugins from when i originally recorded it, only the destructive processing and some compression today it is al much cleaner mix than before, which makes me even happier with how i have finally got it.
