Well Hello Ken.
I emailed you, though I don't know if you saw or read it.
Regarding covering any of my or our songs, you are free to do so,
as you see fit, neither I nor the band intend to micromanage you on the thing.
I felt somewhat constricted with what you required regarding
a cover of one of your tunes done by us, so I decided it was
easier simply not to do it.
Anyway, regarding this thread Radio Ready,
One per artist, huh? So I can say one of mine,
and B'sex can say one of ours then?
Okay, sure, I'm game.
The ALJ one I just released,
my version of my dad's record from 1959,
"Now And Once Again" by American Lesley Jane.
Thank you Ken.

I didn't know I was blocked. Spamming you? I'm sorry, if it seemed that way,
I don't recall doing that. Matter of fact,
I don't recall even writing to you after telling you I didn't want to do your song.
As for your assessment of ---we are BEATLESEX by the way, my friend,
you spelled it wrong, possibly intentionally, but there you have it, Beatle with an A
plus sex---my view of your song, no, I did not say that. You're putting words
in my mouth. We don't have to discuss it, but as you're leveling accusations
at me, I will respond to it. I said I heard a hook that occurred to me,
as I listened to your song. If your song was as you put it 'too shitty' to do,
I would not have been interested in doing it. But look, I'm sorry if you felt
somehow insulted by what I saw I could do with the song, I did not mean
anything insulting by it, and definitely was not implying it was not a good song.
As for you covering my songs or our songs, well you don't have to, certainly.
And again, Ken, I thank you for adding
American Lesley Jane, my solo work,
and BEATLESEX, my band,
two different entities, to your Radio Ready station.
Be well.
As for emailing you, again,
I don't recall doing that since I told you
I wasn't going to do your song,
or no, I didn't do that since the email after that,
when you called me a bitch or something,
and then I wrote back saying 'well now you can't do my song',
which was me being a bitch since you sort of already told me I was one,
and that was, uh, bitchy of me. I apologize for that.
You don't have to unblock me, it's not like I write to you, since then.
I didn't even know I was blocked, that's how often I write to you.
I appreciate you adding us, me, the boys, to your station.
That's all.
Wishing you Happiness and Inspiration...
Be well.
~L
