Dream away revisited.
For those that liked my instrumental "Dream Away" I finally got around writing lyrics for it and writing an ending instead of the song falling off a cliff at the end.
I will have to record it again to introduce these new elements. This song is written in non- traditional tuning using 432 HZ instead of 440 HZ also the lyrics are written into 3 stanza's instead of the traditional verse chorus progression.
first stanza.
"I pick up the pieces that fall to the ground. They're backwards and sideways and upside down. Put the square peg into the round hole. Things are not the same. I can't chase this dream away. But I'm trying to get it right and I'm fighting with all my might. But I guess that don't mean a thing when your a feather in the wind. Now my blue skies turned grey and the sun has fallen away. So how long must I roam in the valley of the unknown."
second stanza
"put on a brave face to fool the masses but I just made a fool of myself I can't wear your rose colored glasses. Things are not the same I can't chase this dream away. But I'm trying to get it right and I'm fighting with all my might but But I guess that don't mean a thing when I'm a candle in the wind. My strength is starting to fade as my courage is eaten away. How long now must I roam in the valley of the unknown."
third stanza
"what can you do with such a disaster? I wish I knew the answer to that. Should I go slow or should I go faster. Well I'm trying to get it right and I'm fighting with all my might but things are not the same and I can't chase this dream away. But I guess that don't mean a thing if I don't know how to begin. Everything's in disarray I'm still trying to find my way. How long now must I roam. in the valley of the unknown.

Just a little one of lives detours. The sign says a few miles more. but I guess that don't mean a thing when your a feather in the wind Things are not the same. I can't chase this dream away."
