When Dragons Fall
When Dragons fall.
What have I done blackout the sun
so the darkness rules the day
what can I say the world's is grey
as the colors drain away
I climbed upon a barbed wire fence
bloody hands and mangled feet
at the top the strangest bird
ever I did meet
a forked tongue lies within its beak
jagged hands for wings and razor claws for feet
The bird it spoke unto me this is what it said
sing me a song to slay the dragon in your head
I sang:
I had scorpions for breakfast
swarm of hornets at mid day
to wash it down the venom
of a red and yellow snake
for diner I had spiders
bullet ants are for desert
truth be told it doesn't
even really hurt
what have I done blackout the sun

for you to slay the dragon first pull of its wings
grab the beast by the horns upon its head
sing the song you sung to me it will fall down dead
