The Sky Hits the Ground "Timebomb Syndrome" Cover
The epic tale written by masterful lyricist Shane Willard and the Eerie guitar of Mike Lance that's always perfectly in time and balanced control of heavy strumming to bluesy weepy licks that crawl out from under the bushes to bite you in the ankle when you are not looking. Complete with gentle classical guitar to make your head swoon. The exceptional combo platter The Sky Hits the Ground is a feast for the ears to behold.
One particularly haunting song is "Timebomb Syndrome" Shane and Mike wield a mighty folk tale worthy to be told for the ages.
Two Silo complex takes this blissful folk tale and turns it inside out. From the first note, Two Silo Complex goes headlong down the rabbit hole to the world of Alice as she struggles and is caught up in a whirlwind of maladies in wonderland.
Alice in wonderland goes awry. She starts out too small then gets too big for her britches as she causes the ground to quake, lakes, overflow, and mountains to crumble under her mighty footsteps. All is not well in wonderland whether the grass is too tall or Alice herself is too tall. She meets a gruesome end that you have to hear to believe.

I'm honoured and blown away, Ken. This is a head crushing cover that I think I like just as much as the original. I listened to it about 3 times on end last night, and many more today. It has such a dense atmosphere with all the layered guitars and vocal effects.
Thank you for spending time with this song and delivering such a fantastic and intense version of it.

Wow! I love this version. TSC’s cover versions are always so creative and this is no exception. I’ve been listening to it quite a bit myself since getting the mp3. I love how dense and oppressive it sounds. I love the sound of chorus. Totally impressed. Thanks for recording and sharing this.
Thanks for the kind words about the lyrics. I took my time writing these ones so I’m glad the effort shows. Also glad to see the numerous Alice in Wonderland references were picked up on.
