My studio is coming along
I love geeking out on gear as some of you already know.
I have been working like an indentured servant getting this place together lately and I can actually see my progress.
There is a buzz in the air, big time.
But I am in love with this place. It is a modest studio, but I have been collecting gear for 30+ years now and I have it whittled into a sweet setup.
It is only 16 tracks (analog) but I have 16 channels of digital interface as well.
It all revolves around a pristine collection of JBL studio and control monitors, SAE class A amplifiers and an era British console, patchbays and high end mics.
Blood sweat and tears after years of elbow grease and nickels and dimes.
It sounds amazing!
Looking back over the years and where I have come from give me the goosebumps.
It's been a long journey and arriving here now in this epic little studio means I can begin a new page of work.
To all with passion for this, cheers, dudes, this is the life.

I'm not a gear head at all - too lazy and impatient to do all the complex engineering, wiring, etc that goes with it. So I admire and depend on those that know and do. And of course I completely get how fabulous it is to have good equipment set up right, when you put music in and get it back out just the way you want ... psyched to hear the tunes that come out of your new studio!

Alright! As fellow studio nerd I am impressed with your stick with it attitude. I also built my little studio right here in my home. I have both analog and digital gear also. Big Congrats On your accomplishments. Looking forward to hearing great sounding music from you.
Much Respect,
Stoneman
