Republican rebranding ain't gonna work
I just read an op-Ed on the daily beast about why the millennials hate the GOP.
It was hilarious, first of all.
The writer talks about trump and his campaign of reality show ratings shock and awe and how he is a serious problem for the GOP.
Millennials are now the largest voting block in USA as well as the largest group of of voters employed and holding up the labor force, albeit, underemployed.
The writer went on to sTate that the GOP must acknowledge climate change and not terrorism, as well as address student loans and minimum wage.
It scared me for a second as I reLized my generation (X) totally drank the kook aide.
And then I remembered Facebook and how the kids are actually running all of this now.
The GOP will not only struggle convincing very few millennials that the conservative way is how to get out of economic strife, but if they were to attempt it, they would only alienate the remaining brain dead populous that supports their bullshit thievery.
Anyhow, stick a fork in the grand ole party, they are overcooked and not edible.
The kids spit you out a long time ago.

Well remember, some millennials are pretty stupid.
I think the dumbest move of all for Repubs was to totally alienate the hispanics who are approaching 30% of the US population. and women too.

Well, to those of us who really do not wanna see the Republicans win the next election, I would say this: Don't underestimate anything or anyone of them.
Resting on an assumption is something we cannot afford to do.
They deal in subtracting the illumination from any given situation,
so slam on the lights, Folks. ~L

I believe that Donald Trump will be the next president. And it has nothing to do with being a democlican or a republicrat. 2016 is the year of the non-politician. People are really sick of politicians. I know I am. Politicians have always let me down. There are only about three who I would actually vote for for president. And two of them are democrats so shut up in advance, lol.

From a Canadian perspective although I have American roots on my moms side, I think I will say that Trump is the best thing ever to happen to the political landscape in the US in quite some time.
He is heads and shoulders above anyone right now who stands with him in these debates and he is skewering the competition, or lack of it, the man is slaughtering and decimating the useless excuses who stand with him on every debate there has been. Throughout all these debates he has outpointed outsmarted and and browbeaten the lousy batch of wannabes that stand with him during these debates, he has created a graveyard of losers, and he is now using them as toothpicks cleaning the pieces that are left of the idiots from between his teeth. He is a T-Rex gnawing and chewing them all to pieces and spitting out their bones. I dont think there will be another like him ever.. I watch these debates consistently and actually cant believe the lack of quality candidates there are and no one can challenge him, he is running roughshod over them all.
Donald J Trump has used his big personality, dynamic energy and charm to sway a good portion of the American public or those in the GOP and it seems right now he has what it takes to be the man representing the Republican party.,
The motto of the GOP is "The Republican Party is fighting for a freer and stronger America where everyone has the opportunity to achieve the American Dream" and that motto has never been further from the truth although in Donald's eyes, he almost has his hands on the helm and power of the Republican party and has done in a manner that has been like that of a third party candidate. What a Firebrand. I admire what he has accomplished. The media cant get enough of him even though he slaps them around like his own slaves and minions by making fun of them and criticizing their efforts . As for the press media and TV, well they are eating out of his hand, giving him so much press and free advertising, you can't by that kind of thing, he has manipulated the media so well it is mind boggling
Will he be President, unlikely, although he has made this one of the most entertaining and interesting campaigns I have ever witnessed. Now if we could only do the same thing for ourselves, we be millionaires and famous, I would like that. NOT!
cheers

12/21/2015 9:19:41 AM
One thing I notice...
What's going on in the realm of politics these days seems to defy reason.
Defy it laughing.
Yes, people are tired of politicians.
But that's like saying "I'm sick of vanilla.. think I'll try doody"...
It ain't chocolate, Folks.
A year ago, if I'd said this "Trump Phenomenon" and it is one, don't
kid yourselves, Folks, would happen,
no one would have believed me. And yet here it is happening.
The guy is beyond an idiot, he's certifiably insane,
and aye there's the rub as Shakespeare put it, because so are so many of us.
I'm going one further...
I am outright saying, there is a very real and tangible possibility,
that Trump may actually win.
And it's not because of anything good he'll do...
People who think he'll invigorate the economy, fail to remember,
he's a billionaire, and who do the Republicans always serve,
first, second, third, fourth, and fifth, over the rest of us? The Billionaires.
He'll look out for his own, in other words, he doesn't give a damn about us.
He won't raise minimum wage, which is basically telling a great many of
us to 'go suck wind'.
And the biggest factor, of what could get him elected,
and for what it's worth, remember I'm the one who told you this,
is the Unspoken Truth, that everybody knows, and no one is about to
talk about except me, who at least mentioned it.
Donald Trump, will initiate the Nuclear Holocaust which will kill
ninety something percent of life on Earth as we now know it.
That means a lot of us won't even be here to give a damn,
which suits a lot of people just fine.
There is, then, I'm calling out the Ninja Elephant in the room;
a present, if kept undercover, desire, in the populace,
that's all of us Folks, a desire, a wish, for It All To END.
And We All Recognize Trump, as the guy who will Herald That END.
THAT, is the real force behind Donald Trump,
and that, say I'm wrong now, and when I'm toasting a marshmallow
out my window as it all comes down, I'll shrug and maybe say 'yeah, huh?'
but this disturbing shit could happen.
And we all will have ushered it right into the house.
Right through the front door, taking its hat and umbrella.
And no, I'm not about to engage in a slap-back echo back and forth
again with Larree or anyone else.
Outside of a few wry observations, I'm letting it be.
You can't make people think, and you damn sure cannot instill a will
to live in them. They do or they don't. All to it.

I have worked for 43 plus years and will work at what i do now till I die. I have worked in the construction industry, as a laborer, eventually getting into business. run multi million dollar jobs, left that started up other self employment opportunities. so if there is a will there is a way.

In considering our annual Lie of the Year, we found our only real contenders were Trump’s -- his various statements also led our Readers’ Poll. But it was hard to single one out from the others. So we have rolled them into one big trophy.

people have been saying we are in the end times for centuries, even in the time of Christ, one thing that scholars know, and even they get mislead, it is more then just saying it, you have to know what to look for. And if one knows the bible really well, they will understand. It is more then Trump, he is a small cog. nothing really , and he has nothing ,absolutely nothing to do with bringing on nuclear holocaust or end times. he is a tiny little molecule and will not even be involved with anything critical in that way.

ABC's Democratic primary debate scores 7.85 million viewers on Saturday
Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton speaks during the Democratic presidential primary debate Saturday at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. (Jim Cole / Associated Press)
Stephen BattaglioStephen BattaglioContact Reporter
The Democratic primary debate held Saturday averaged 7.85 million viewers on ABC, making it the least-watched candidate showdown of the 2016 presidential race, according to Nielsen data.
Moderated by "ABC World News Tonight" anchor David Muir and the network's chief global affairs correspondent, Martha Raddatz, at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire, the event was slightly below the 8.55 million viewers that the last showdown among the Democrats had. That debate aired Nov. 14, also a Saturday night, on CBS.
The campaigns of Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley complained about the scheduling of the debate in New Hampshire on Saturday, the night of the week that typically has the smallest number of homes using television and the lowest ratings. Outside of live sports and the CBS news magazine "48 Hours," networks program the night with repeat episodes.
While the number paled next to the record-setting numbers for the Republican primary events, the debate was ABC's most watched Saturday program since December 31, 2011, excluding live sports broadcasts.
But the Democrats also don't have the carnival-worthy attraction of Donald Trump in their field of candidates led by Hillary Clinton, who continues to hold a wide lead over her competitors and shows no signs of relinquishing it. The Republicans also have more candidates in a race that is still considered unsettled despite Trump's lead in the polls.
The lack of real conflict among the three Democratic candidates may also be a factor in the lower interest level. Clinton's late return to the debate stage after a bathroom break was the most discussed moment of the evening. The recent controversy over a data breach by Sanders' campaign -- which the candidate apologized for -- was addressed early.
The first Democratic debate on CNN was watched by 15 million viewers on Oct. 13.
The ratings for all of the Democrats' debates trail the three highest Republican matchups this year. The GOP debates have set records on four different cable networks, including the 24 million viewers who watched Aug. 6 on Fox News Channel and 23 million viewers for CNN on Sept. 16. The last GOP debate, Dec. 15 on CNN, had 18 million viewers.
The next Democratic primary debate will air Jan. 17, a Sunday, on NBC.

Boys, I could listen to you for hours.
Well, noooo not really.
It gets old pretty quick. Which is why I stopped feeding the flame wars,
but by all means, rock it and clock it.
I do happen to think, and yes, I will say this,
Sharia Law Sucks Donkey Balls. So observe it all you want,
just don't tell me I gotta do it, 'cause I won't.
Sharia Law is an Insult To GOD. There. Yeah, I said that. I totally believe it too.
Because God made us all with Free Will,
and of course Sharia Law is about anything BUT Free Will.
So, Sharia Law, Is Against God Almighty,
whether you call Him Jehovah, Jesus, Buddha, Allah, or Harold.
Yes Harold.
Our Father Who Art In Heaven, Harold Be Thy Name.
Anyway, Holo, maybe it passes the time of day,
and if you both get something out of it, great, what the heck
am I gonna say about that?
I say my piece now, and basically leave it alone.
Whatever happens, is going to happen, anyway.
There is actually (I just found out) ancient prophecy
dating back to about the year 1000,
directly outlining the end of the world to occur
during the time of the 112th Pope.
The 112th Pope, is Francis, the one who's in there now.
So, who knows...
Insanity may take the day, and if it does, we'll all be calling a night of it.
Personally, I'm going to toast marshmallows out my window,
maybe even get to eat one. Who knows. Anything's possible.

Why are some left wingnuts so supportive of the islamonazis? Hell, you are so into equal rights for women but some of these people you support treat their women worse than farm animals.

Obviously you must think they are all the same because you do not see the need for tighter security to weed out the islamonazis. You may insult me all you want but at the end of the day you are truly dense.
