As close to Live as Noah Spaceship gets
I am really stoked about this production, and I just don't give a fuck about etiquette or rules so I uploaded the the first half of the video.
Essentially, we have here the foundation video before I add the bass and lyric video overlay, which I still need to make and process. But, this version makes me happy as is and I want to share it.
This is as live as this band gets because I am the only member.
*sidenote - I added a crowd roar because that is how this song is in my head.
I hope you like :)
Visit my channel and subscribe, I have a brand new channel that will give you all a peek into my world.
Much Love!!

I've always liked this song, but your video is rather amazing there, what a rockin' effect.
I'm going to share it with some folks.

you rock, Ken, thanks so much!
I really appreciate your interest as well. I have many plans for making videos and your comment gives me ideas about demonstrating some of my unconventional tricks to get certain things to look the way they do. It is a lot of work and can sometimes be extremely mindnumbing, especially when juggling all of the other production aspects as well as performing, so thank you again for your feedback and support, it means a lot to me. :)

So Noah I know that you put so much love and detail into your videos and it really shows. My only comment to help you not that you need my help by any stretch is that the videos are long. My suggestion would be to make a short version video that is one song.
Like the video you posted to IMP of zeman ruckus with you an kim in the room and the lyrics over the top it was intimate and it was really great.
Maybe a short version that is the finished product and a longer version that shows the pieces putting it together. I don't know its just idea I love the videos but you know people these days have short attention span.

Ken

I appreciate that Ken. You are right in your assertion in one regard, but based on youtube analytics, there are viewers who actually prefer longer videos. Youtubers are quite savvy and like what they like and I personally like both long and short videos. You can clearly view the length of the video before you click on it and if you are not into long videos or visa-versa, you know right away.
At the end of the day, I make these videos because I love making and viewing them and quite frankly I make what I want because it is what I want, not to please others or cater to what certain people want or what I think 'people want to see'. My formula is making something that fits my own personal taste and it's basically that simple.
I hope I don't come across as too brash in my reply. I take into account and really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks! :)

I have to add, it is funny because, a part of me is paranoid about having videos too long, haha. It was a struggle to release 'evolution' and the zeman ruckus set which are both over 20 minutes for the exact reason you pointed out, and on my welcome to our channel video, I kept that under two minutes. I also broke my scale chart into two versions, a short and the full length.
I really love talking about and sharing my process and the fact that you show an interest really excites and motivates me, I really can't thank you enough for that, Ken.
So, with that said, Evolution was an organic jam that I made up as I went along and the video actually shows the unadulterated guitar track, unedited, and I couldn't bring myself to splice it for that reason. The same goes for the zeman ruckus set. The zeman ruckus set was actually the first time Kris and I had ever sat down and attempted to play all of those songs back to back and I felt it was special in that regard. It was a struggle for me on that one as well in releasing it as is because both Kris and I made several flubs throughout the set, but we both agreed it would be good for the soul to let it be what it was.
Anyhow, again, thank you so much for the support and feedback, it really means a lot to Kris and I.
Much Love, Brother!!
:)

First of all your sound is great. As a fellow artist I can appreciate how much time you spent on preparation before making the videos practicing etc.
Secondly to be able to get a glimpse into your world is really fascinating because the way you frame things is also great you have an eye for video that I don't and I admire that aspect of your creation. I can relate to a lot of things you show being a one man band playing guitar, bass, and drums.
Your talents are on display for the world and that speaks volumes. Who cares a few little fubs I think that is part of the charm actually.
I have to admit because they are long I watch them in sections because of my time limitations but that is my issue not yours.
I am so glad that you did not keep these for yourself but instead decided to let us in on this journey. As long as you keep making them I'll keep watching.
Well done my friend in rock well done.
Ken
