The Circle of Life brings incredible Hope and Happiness...
I have been very down of late , I would not call it depression...but to say I am bordering on the precipice is not a stretch.
Tonight I got an incredible lift from my sweet little boy, my son Aidan. I was playing with him as I always do when I return from another day at the office. I follow him around as he runs from room to room...his new word is "Zoom" and every time a car commercial comes on all I hear is ."Zoom Zoom" :) He loves any commercial with a cool song too! He is 16 months old, and he is such a gift.
Tonight was very special, I was tickling him as he was on his back, and I started singing "Do re mi", ....I sang the Major scale up and down,.. "La la La....." and My Son sang it back to me, he missed a few notes but the Major scale was evident :) He did it a few times with his sweet little voice. What a special moment :) He may have a bit of his ol man in him :)
Just wanted to share a moment of Happiness I experienced tonight..

Jeff,
That is so heart-warming. What a fantastic story. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. Children are so precious and it always puts an enormous smile in my heart to hear such stories.

Very Cool Jeff .... Keep Hangin' in there my friend ... Kids are what it's all about ... You probably just got a glimpse of some of the happiness your parents got out of you when you were 16 months old ..
Peace and Blessings

I have 15 month old Twin grandkids and the other day the boy noticed that the girl was not well and went up to her - put his arm around her and said "aaaah" it was so good to see sibling love at such a young age.

Hello Jeff,
A beautiful and meaningful story indeed!
Thank you for placing such an advert for us thirty-something-and-not-parents-yet in order to remind us of how important children are (they ARE the future).
And just continue to focus on such blissful aspects of life!
Rock´n roll 8-)

My grandson Reece (3 on apr/15) wants to do what "papa" does. When I'm sitting in the studio working on something, he'll grab his little guitar, or sit at his keyboard and say "Let's play in papa's band". Last Christmas I bought him a full size set of drums of his own. We go in the garage and he does his best to use the foot pedals
and hit every single piece with his sticks. I'll play with him cause I love him and I know that music over-all can teach much more than just sounds. I'll never force any lessons on him. He has to want that......but then I'd pay for every penny for every minute he did.
(He's on my pics on my page)
