What a shame. All the thought, all the emotion, all the feeling, and all the drugs that went into that timeless music and this is what it is used for? Something ain't right!

And does it have anything to do with this disheartening article?? I have read Jackson puts up the Beatles rights as collateral every time he needs to secure a loan.
Michael Jackson's company denies Beatles coming to iTunes

The company that owns the rights to a vast majority of The Beatles music catalog has questioned reports that the Fab Four have cut a deal with Steve Jobs.
"Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the joint venture owned by Sony and singer Michael Jackson, has thrown cold water on newspaper stories out of London that The Beatles catalog would soon be available on iTunes. A spokeswoman for Sony/ATV Music Publishing told CNET News.com that the reports are "untrue." "

McCartney gave him the idea to buy them, and at the time He was on top of the world and had more clout. McCartney owns the publishing to many songs including Buddy Hollys catalog. Jackson stabbed him in the back when he drove up the price, their friendship ended. I hear more and more Beatles songs sung by others for television commercials, he is beginning to tap that well...and it pisses me off.!!!!

To clarify, Mccartney gave him the idea to buy publishing rights in general....McCartney had eyes on buying the Beatles catalog himself. I know he regrets planting the seed....
