New Tune!!! One of my best......or at least one of my latest :)
Well my recording session was interrupted by Black Crows, and even an Earthquake! But I finished it! Its a pretty cool Arrangement , I am very happy how it came out....

Thanks Sam and Richard.....
Is anyone one else giving this a spin?? It's some of my best produced work,... the percussion alone should get some props :)
This dropped off the front page, so I am bumping it up one more time to promote it... no one else will do it for me.
Hope you check it out...
Peace!

Here's another bump, my friend! The percussion is excellent and subtle not cheesy like some percussion can be. It's very fluid and moves the song along.
The words and the melody are deep and atmospheric. I can appreicate that this type of song is outside your beatlesque comfort zone and I applaud you for that. Reminds me of something Genesis would have done. The strings come in nicely as well as the women singers who I liked a lot. (did you say your wife was away????) lol. They really add to the overall feel. (no pun intended) And last but not least, your freakin' voice just keeps getting better with every song as well as the production.

Thanks Richard :) Women singers???? The background Vocal is me , sung between a falsetto and full voice, I thought my range would drop as I got older, but I find it doing just the opposite. I think not smoking has paid off :)
I was heavily influenced by Peter Gabriel here, I have always loved his Album "So" and the percussion used.
Again, thanks for the support and encouragement.

That was very nice! I just checked it out, glad you bumped it! Kind of has a Gordon Lightfoot vibe to it at times too which I dug as well. Thanks!

Jeff - I popped open the thread, read your initial post, copied the URL and listened while I read the lyrics. I enjoyed the track and when I returned to the thread I saw that I had reached the same conclusion as Richard - the Peter Gabriel influence was apparent. It didn't get in the way, but it is there. I found the lyrics interesting and your voice very pleasing. And yes, I liked the percussion work as well.
Nicely done, I enjoyed it - even though I am generally a more sludgy riffy hammer type that has a hard time wrapping my head around "thoughtful" music sometimes.

Great Production Work!!!
VERY Clean Sound especially what you had to go through. The part that really got me was the Subtle yet Powerful build of the percussion. I like how the structure of the song is in character of the song title. The beginning is soft and mellow while the end is full on and passionate. Like the very essence of a Gemini and its duality.
I agree with everyone on the other topics. Great Work and Thank You for your Music.
