At last, a new song by Mr. Ison to once again challenge us and take us outside ourselves and into his cerebral landscape populated by haunting but beautiful apparitions of lyrical and musical longing. Let the song wash over you like waves on a shore. Highly ambitious and deeply personal work is being done here but the deeper he goes into his world, the more we learn about ourselves.. After all, on a certain level, we're all one.
Wheels Of Her .....visually evocative and sonically textural layers of sound which propel the images
from musical catapults straight into our collective subconscious...freewheelin' instrumentation and unpredictable chord changes....heart felt vocals.... a swingin' beat that barrels down the tracks threatening to derail at any moment but always hangin' on and hugging home base for dear life. What more could you ask of a song?

Love it Steve! I wish I could describe what you do as well as Richard. But I can't so I'll just say yeah! Exactly what he said. There is only one you and you are 100% the real deal when it comes to song crafting and musicianship.
Much Respect,
Stoneman

Hey Steve.
Although applying labels is a fruitless task, I'll try anyway. All the while I listened to it, it bugged my failing memory. Here it is -
Hollies and Strawberry Alarmclock -
honestly, it just leaped out at me. Once again you prove to be entirely original and listenable. Since I've been out of the IAC loop for so very long I've probably missed an albums worth of your material. Always great to here your stuff....cheers!

Totally righteous. Dropping all that swirling musicality on my head.
