Dang. Thank you very much for saying all of that. I really do appreciate it. "We"(which is only "me" now) were never truly a "band”( other than a "band of brothers"/”He and I”). We just played around. He knew how to play musical instruments, where as I would just tap on a pot, slap on my leg or smack my lips and tongue. Later on I got a juice harp and then a harmonica and later on some congas. We were mainly “talking and having fun” and I just had a cassette recorder and we’d record it all. That is how we began. Later on I got a four track and a couple of legitimate microphones(and my famous “two-string bass” haha!). We were still ”just having fun”. And yet he would take some of these “things”(sometimes) and add vocals and drums and other parts to ”it”. So, over 90% of the stuff on our page is improvisational with him singing words that I'd written in notebooks. I had a couple of satchel bags filled with notebooks of things that I had written over the years from a teenager into my thirties(none of which were “intended” as “music”, although some of ‘em were kinda “poetic”). And now I get to listen to “me talking to myself” via “music” through HIM(“Thank God!” I don't like listening to myself talk nearly as much as “hymn singing”! ) So, “thanks again” for saying all of what you have said. I do appreciate it. Have a good day! (my back is really killing me right now) Later! -M-
