World's Biggest Online Collaboration?
Since 2003 guitarists have been gathering in Wroclaw, Poland to celebrate the "Thanks Jimi" Festival. These guys currently hold the Guinness Book of Records with 1881 guitarists simultaneously playing "Hey Joe".last year. On May 1 they're going to do it again. And they invite guitarists from around the world to join them simultaneously online. Details at:

That sounds cool! I'll definitely be watching, if not participating.

Just got back from our humble little contribution to this event. It was the launch of a blues club in our local area. More than 200 people attended this inaugural event and 20 or so unplugged guitarists joined with the band in a version of "Hey Joe" which was webcammed back to the official event.
So my "blistering" unplugged solo can be seen but will never be heard.....
