Diversity is good! The Peppers and The Nails do some great pop stuff now and then. I'm one of your biggest fans so let me help you out on that link so it will show up as clickable:
First: the link starts with an arrow pointing left then put an a right after it (no space) then put a space right before href with an equals sign right after it (no space), the rest is correct but leave out the quotation marks. Then put an arrow that points to the last letter in Eggshells, then put a forward slash after that arrow (no space) then put a small letter a then put an arrow that faces away from the a (no spaces between any of those final symbols.)
If I actually put any of the symbols in the text they don't appear in the final post which is why I have to describe it in this tortured fashion! Oh yeah, and your new tune is groovy, man.
I listen to every new song that you post as I have always done. If a new song is played in the forrest and no one's around, does the song make a sound? Open call to all: Let's be more supportive of each other's new songs! I try to listen to every new song posted on the blog and try to give a comment of support.
If an artist goes out of his or her way to bring a new song to our attention by posting a link to that specific song it means they really want to share it. It's not as though they are saying "go to my page and listen to every song". They're saying, "hey folks, I'm really excited about this one new song that I worked my butt off to get right so my colleagues at IAC would dig it" So let's dig each other's earth!
The hour is getting late.

Richard -- appreciate the fix... I'm doin' the vampire thang, and hittin' the coffin' for a few hours of snoozin' before early evening WORK & then another nite of mayhem... SO, I'll edit that stuff tonight. I admit, your instructions require a little more thought than me tired brain can deal with right now, but I know it's easy stuff. AND THANKS for checkin' it out! I was thinkin' it was more in the style that you've dug from me lately... Keep on doin' that thang you do Mr. Scotti!

Walking on eggshells with your new tune Phlegm ( and how ! )
And then suddenly ... the parenthesis jargon vanished never to be seen or heard from again ... and the sound of the sultry wind tip toed softly over the vicious blades of grass that never appreciated blowing south when all the fun was happening up north.
I just had to bump you up one more time as I think this tune could use another round
( admit it ... you wrote this about me )

If you choose to paint shells black, or even others - ruby red, it's all good for the compost, me thinks. ;-)
Edit:
Oh yes, and proper context is important when you dig in... trouble is (if you call it that) you never really see what's growin' in your neighbor's garden do you?.. try as we may. If we are not responsible with our own perceptions - how will eggs or seeds hatch and thrive with the upmost creative potential?.. deeper still, how will there be peace on earth without love and acceptance of any condition? Just wondering what y'all think of that? ...and here you thought your song was fluffy Phlegm... Not at all. Just given ya back what I see. Thanks for the inspiration! 8-)

Wow! Thank you Anjuli, Father time, lyin' Dan, Butterfly & this one even pulled in ROACH up my nose... Appreciate that you see the underlying message, which isn't really very fluffy... S'all about communication between humans, which is ALWAYS limited by both our own egos/perceptions/experiences/hangups, and those of who we are communicating with... So yeah. I guess I did write it for Crack*a*jack*crow, in a special rainbows & puppy dogs kinda way.
Gotta tell you though, while some of y'all on IAC have quickly embraced this one, my current band members couldn't agree with you less. It's actually way too mellow for their "hard alternative" tastes... Probably won't be back in the LIVE show lineup 'til we move the project to the UK, around 2010 (or so).
Anyway, thank you everybody who gave it a listen. BUT especially those who got the not-so-subtle message, and still dug the lighter (less green & chunky side of phlegm.
ARRRGGHH! Don't you hate long winded mo' fo's, who attempt to wax eloquent, but then pretentiously speak of themselves in 3rd person?

Hi Phlegm, do you know of the Germs. There was an article in the paper today about the film that has been made about Darby Crash and the group

I was first introduced to the GERMS, when watching "The Decline of Western Civilization (PART 1-- I think)" -=- It was back when Darby was still alive. He was pretty awesome as far as stage presence and living the punk rock ethic to his perspective in full... But his singing was of course attrocious, yet beautiful at the same time.
Did a lot of the fall down, and cut your self with razorblades and broken beer bottles stuff too. Live fast, die young, eh?
Anyway I LOVE The Germs, I'll have to look into that NEW film you mentioned. Didja know the GERMS guitarist played with KURT Cobain & Nirvana, before Kurt axed himself from the planet? Yup.
I THINK the guitarist from the Germs is currently playing for the NEW Misfits (minus Danzig) ... er... or some other popular punk or metal band.
Thanks for lettin' me talk PUNK Rock for a moment, Mum of DirgeK !

The article said that because he died the day before John Lennon his death did not get the recognition he had hoped for and the film is trying to put this right although they released it at the time of the Olympics so it is not doing very well.
