you could do a good room recording of this sort of stuff if you focus and turn down a bit, you dont need a studio, all you need is a few mics.

Can't say as I fully agree with you and Frater P. on this one.

Lo-FI IS the way to go, if you're catching a rare take, where the guest musicians did it just right. AND sometimes that may have to be with a condensor mic on a boombox, minicassette recorder, mp3 player or cell phn.

BUT, I promise I'll strive for a higher class of LO-FI, every opportunity I get. Can't guarantee it, until we find a way to financially do more than barely survive.

Oh yeah, and we're movin' to ENGLAND.

By hook or by crook.

And it's my understanding School has a portable recording kit of sorts, to where we could catch the live shit, but with better sound balance and mixing. IT's all going down in 2010, just a few more LIVE Lo-Fi gems between NOW and the English pHuTUre phOr pHLeGm.
