Despite McCain ads pandering to the stupid, Obama surges to commanding lead.
Could the people be smart enough to make the right choice? It seems like they are.

You're an arrogant little snit! What I'd like to know is exactly when, where and how were you schooled that makes you & the Obama Elite feel so freakin' superior to everyone else. Its people like you and your continual condescending bullshit that makes it hard to board the Obama train.
You are more a hindrance, than help to his campaign.

If you want a clueless president, go vote for McCain. If you want the smartest individual we've had running for office in years, vote for Obama. This isn't snobbery, it's fact.

Holo, its not always the man holding the title, but a matter of who surrounds him. Information is only as good as those who provide it. So far, the presidential information hotline hasn't been so hot, has it?!
Obama is intelligent; book smart. McCain is experienced smart and maybe not an eloquent speaker. But if you want to take apart public speaking, then stop being mesmerized by big fancy words. Start listening to all the "ands", "ah's" and "er's". Obama has plenty. From the few I have listened to, if you wrote his speeches verbatim, there would be one great big long sentence connected by and, ah, and er. Very monotonous, IMO. A great speaker is not unlike a great writer.
I just don't think its right to call people stupid, dumb, idiots, or worse just because they don't agree with your choice of candidate.
I just think there are good issues as well as bad in all the candidates and its a matter of choice. You, however, are just blind-sided by...youth, naivety?? What? Surely, you are not the fanatic you portray here??

If anyone wants to take that as an insult, that's their problem.
Look at the recent McCain ad about Obama not seeing the troops. It's deceptive, total propaganda distortion, basically a complete lie. If that was my candidate, I'd be embarrassed.
The one prior to that was even worse, blaming Obama for high oil prices.
These ads are intended for morons. How can any of you deny that? It's offensive and this is coming from a guy who claimed he didn't want to run a negative campaign. He has no message so he's resigned to low blows, already.
Sorry if the truth hurts. If you're falling for these horrible ads, you're stupid.

stupid can learn before its too late
arrogance does not learn until its too late
Its not "their problem" you are a pompous ass who thinks he has all the answers, including how one is to think and vote.
My goodness! You're voting for Obama. You're stupid. You're dumb. You're an idiot. How can you not see that McCain is the right choice. My God man, we're at war and you want some weenie like Obama to get us out of it. Grow up. Do you honestly think that we can just up and fuckin' leave Iraq or Afghanistan? If you do you're more naive than I thought. Do you want to tell the Islamic extremists "oops, we can't defeat you. We give up. You win and anytime you want to come over here and kick our ass, please feel free to do so". Is that what you want Holo?
If you do, you're stupid. There's only one clear choice and if you don't make it with McCain, you're an idiot. How can you be so dumb and stupid not to realize the possible outcome of your actions. And to think that John McCain and so many, many more suffered for you to utter your stupidity all over the internet. Where is your head...up your ass?

We supposedly won that war back when Bush declared mission accomplished. What does winning that war mean? Even McCain can't answer that question. IMO it's foolish even talking about winning and losing that war, it's a moot point. We never should've been in it in the first place and we need some troops in Afghanistan, it's obvious.
Being held as a prisoner of war doesn't make somebody smart.

Stuff it, Nerol. I bring up issues like the 2 shameless ads McCain has brought out recently and none of you will discuss any of that. You'd rather be outraged because I would dare put forth the proposition that somebody voting for McCain may not be too bright. I'm sure you'd agree that is somewhat true about Bush supporters, but you wouldn't admit it I'm sure, now, in this context.
I'm allowed to have those opinions. Some of you took it personally, which you shouldn't have. I guess if the shoe fits. :>)

Wow, are you kidding? You see youthful exhuberance in his post after post of condescending insults? LOL And "there's a hell of a lot to be said for that" too?
Pass that doob over Doug. LOL
And who said he's a young guy anyways? Or that that's his picture, that he's male, or even white for that matter?
When someone makes endless condescending insults, preeching, and proclomations "vote for obama or you're an idiot"......... and meanwhile the person doesn't have the testicular fortitude to sign his name to it. He's essentially a completely anonymous entity.
How much weight/respect do you give to this "person's" opinions?
He's just another anon asshole with an opinion. The internet is full of them. I have more respect for the dump I just took as I flushed it down the toilet.

I'm assuming his age not only because of his pic but from some other conversation.

Conversation starter true. But, it's the Enquirer tabloid approach. Bait and switch. The Morton Downey Jr. approach.
I could generate as much interest too if I started my threads...
McCain is God! Obama is the anti-Christ!
Yeh, if you don't believe me, then your mother is a used up hag banged by the entire 7th fleet.
See how easy it is LOL
It's the cheap, quick and easy approach.
It's the path to the Dark Side (if you will).

Debating whether or not we should have gone to Iraq is futile. We are there and it is our responsibility to leave without jeopardizing further, the safety of our troops and the Iraqi people.
"Being held as a prisoner of war doesn't make somebody smart."--Holo
I don't think I said that Holo. "And to think that John McCain and so many, many more suffered for you to utter your stupidity all over the internet." That is what I said; meaning all those who served their country before and after him. I didn't mention the fact that he was a POW. Its his military experience I spoke of. Who better to know the horrors of war than one who has served or been an immediate victim (innocent civilians).
Come on Holo. Reveal who you are or shut up. Have the guts to stand by your convictions.

Sounds like a maneuver to evade the way some of you have acted on this thread.
It's hard to say that about McCain, saphire, because few would ever admit they're voting for him, probably cause they know deep down how laughable it is.
"Debating whether or not we should have gone to Iraq is futile."
Spoken by a Bush apologist. We can always learn by really huge mistakes in history. Our president mislead us to settle his own score. Think about how wrong that is.
