LOL ummm..... when you say a competent man in power, from what are you drawing your conclusion from? Are you referring to Obama? He has no experience to prove other then voting, "present", how many times? A man who means business..... I will agree that he means business in turning this country to the far left.

I believe GWB was serious about doing right, just flawed in how he handled that. Like teapot dome ... he was not the best administrator and he let his lieutenants get away from him w/ some VERY poor decisions.
As a man, I thought George Bush was at the very least well intentioned and genuine. Too many world leaders thought well of him for anyone who doesn't visit such halls to make opinionated judgments.
Did I think he was a good leader? No. He's a good guy, not a good leader. He was the worst leader we've seen in quite a while. As a person though, I would probably like him.
As a person, I would have a harder time w/ Obama. The man is not of a light nature. He smiles a lot, but he is of a serious bent.
He has chosen a good list of people to help him, and in doing so has exhibited that his management style is (I hope) better than GWB's.
Yet ... leadership isn't something predicted, it's learned and earned ... and I must confess a little bias ...
Recent times, largely because of the fact that Republicans have abandoned fiscal responsibility and instead come to leadership w/ a moral agenda ... well, I've been more happy w/ Democrats in the presidential seat. They've offered better fiscal responsibility (fact, sorry) ... and they don't preach how we all should live.
We'll see if this administration is the exception.
The jury is out on Obama's time as of yet ... and it's REALLY curious how much the press is ignoring GWB. He IS THE PRESIDENT YOU FUCKING MORONS!!!
Ahem ...
Yet, bombs explode in India ... and only Obama's opinion appears in the papers.
I'm (not) sorry. That's wrong. We have a president, and it's not yet Obama. Show some respect.
For in a world w/o respect, chaos reigns.
Best,
Kev-
