I relate to the guy who threw his shoes at Bush's head.
Somebody should've thrown a shoe at his head when he authorized torture. How incredibly Un-American. He deserved a whack in the forehead for that one.
Somebody should've thrown one at him for authorizing his domestic spying program too.
Likewise for the war where so many American and so many other lives were lost which was brought under false pretenses.
He deserves a big shoe up his butt, and he deserves to go to prison too.

Hopefully this stupid event will get the secret service to tighten it self up a little bit more, so they can save Obama if the time comes.

I saw that video of Bush and the armed shoe clerk.
Where was Bush's body guards?
They can take a bullet for the pres, but did they draw the line at stinkfoot?
Could you imagine if that dude was an octopus? He might have actually hit him.
I think they wisked that guy away to sign him up for the S.F.Giants.
How many of those Security dudes do you think Obama is going to keep?
You're way to serious Halo

I hope it creates movement, that it captures the imagination of a population and that their abused dignity will assert itself..
I hope Iraqis demand fair representation from their government. I hope this journalist becomes a national hero while the likes of Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld fade into irrelevance (or into the shadows of the Hague)
And I hope that the next shoe hits ol' W right between the eyes.
He's a national disgrace, a pig actually and I wish he'd just go back to Texas and pretend not to drink while his wife pretends not to notice.
may it be so!!!!!
P.
and I hope everyone will take the time to send this monstrous asshat president of ours at least one pair of your smelly old shoes..
send em courier.

The secret service really screwed up big time. What if Obama had been standing there and the guy threw something more dangerous than a shoe? Security should have been better regardless of who they are protecting.

I think this was a clear signal sent that Bush should, toe the line and come to heel and show a little more sole instead of tieing us all up in laces of destruction which his leather lashing tounge.

that Bush is a sneaker, and a loafer, and should be given the boot. His entire 8 years has been one sandal after the other. (I hope I didn't just put my foot in my mouth on this one)

I was surprised at security, and I was impressed he didn't duck under the podium but waited for the next one.
